The woman made her first million at 21, when she was a Moscow finance and economics student, selling fax machines and latex rubber. After becoming a millionaire, she started her career in trading steel, machinery, fertiliser and other assets, selling them in Russia before the Soviet Union collapsed. Then she moved back to Vietnam and invested in Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank, later she applied to run the airline company.
