What a guest does in the room stays in the room, but they often forget that there is always someone who cleans up after them. If the activities of the night before involve foods and liquids, it makes matters even worse.
6. Using hair and insects
The classic complaint of, “Waiter! There’s a fly in my soup!”, is known to everyone. After all, the customer is always right. Sadly, this belief is abused, especially when the guest is the supplier of loose hairs and dead insects.
When I was working in housekeeping, a woman kept making us change the bed sheets in her room because she kept finding mysterious strands of hair among the sheets. After changing it four times, she demanded a free stay for the inconvenience. We later noticed a comb in her room with tangled strands of hair.
