Many times, traveling and pilgrimages have complemented each other. Doing your part in serving the needy and indulging yourselves in prayer could bring you the peace you are in search for – for eg; serving a langar at a gurudwara when you are on a trip to Punjab or teaching at a school of the Missionaries of Charity when you’re at Kolkata.
4. Volunteer with wildlife protection activists in their upcoming projects
Wildlife protection activists are always venturing out to create new sanctuaries or build roads, bridges and improve infrastructure for villages. They wouldn’t mind a few helping hands in the process. It will give you an experience of primitive living and survival.
