Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could actually tell them about the person we like and who we are dating? After all, shouldn’t they be the first ones to know what is going on in our lives and help deal with our problems should we run into a few?
We want to live in a world where we can pick a person to date and be transparent about it with our parents and not have them wonder about what society would think.
5. We need our space too.
We know that we are lucky to have a family and we cherish every single moment we spend with them. But there comes a time when we want a little privacy and space and we hesitate in asking for the same. How I wish we could!
