Aren’t some of our best memories the ones that are made in school? From sharing our tiffins and bunking classes to getting caught by our teachers and the carefree days, we formed our most beautiful and unbreakable bonds in school. School life is the most cherished phase of our lives because it is where our most innocent days are spent when we are untouched by the harsh realities of the outside world and where we are still protected. Following are the 7 reasons that will make you want to go back to school. 1. No responsibilities and the carefree childhood. As we grow into adults and move out of school, we are faced with innumerable responsibilities. From figuring out our colleges to barely making it to the cut off list, there is an undeniable pressure of figuring out our entire lives unlike in school where we just had a sole responsibility to perform well in exams. 2. Memorable time spent with our friends. We could spend as much time with our friends during school days and who were the sole reason why we looked forward to attending school. But as we mature into responsible young adults, we get so busy building our lives that we are unable to give them as much time. 3. Simplicity at its best. There was no pressure to live up to any societal expectations and we could really be who we are while being celebrated for it. From playing wingman to our friends, sharing private jokes about our classmates and teachers to teasing our friends and the non-stop giggling, school life was literally the golden period of our lives. 4. No stress of earning our livelihood. We were pretty much sorted in school with lesser needs unlike now when we have to a huge responsibility to earn not only for ourselves but for our families too. 5. Lesser challenges. From excelling at our jobs to living up to our family expectations, adulthood is a serious job whereas in school the only challenges we were faced with were to perform better than our friends and how to not get caught by our teachers while bunking classes. 6. Simple things made us happy. We took pleasure in small silly events, insider jokes, rainy days, breaking rules and taking pride in it, chalk fights, lunch breaks, last period, unexpected holiday unlike now when we have to look for happiness ‘inside’. 7. Stability in life. Our lives were stable with a fixed routine, a fixed place and a fixed set of people to go to, for a big chunk of our lives whereas now we not only have erratic schedules and crazy deadlines to meet but also the insecurity of a job.
