4. Career ambitions come first
Young men and women are driven and ambitious. Their pursuit of career goals and the desire to climb the corporate ladder leaves little room for marriage, children and dirty nappies. Family expectations take a backseat in order to facilitate them to progress in the corporate world.
5. Who wants all that responsibility when you can choose freedom?
One’s twenties and thirties are years of a carefree existence with spontaneous plans, parties and general fun. Marriage, on the other hand, brings serious responsibility of the emotional as well as financial well-being of another individual and consequently, of raising an entire family. Such an existence just doesn’t cut it for many and the simplest solution is to not get married at all.
