7. Working on your body language can actually make you feel more positive and confident. Slouching shoulders and a constant frown on your face are all reminders of the negativity you’ve been experiencing but getting rid of these will remind you that you’re fighting it all with a brave face.
8. Breathing exercises are extremely helpful when it comes to getting negative thoughts out of your mind. Whenever a negative thought pops in to your head, close your eyes and count till fifteen. This will help you take a step back and analyse the situation better.
9. Write down all the negative thoughts that have been troubling you and simply discard that piece of paper. Throw it in the dustbin or tear it apart but the act of physically discarding the negativity will help you feel better.
10. It might be a tough one but at times, we ignite the negativity in our minds by staying in a negative environment. Be it a toxic friend, abusive partner or a dead end job, cut the negativity out of your life.
11. Realize that negative thoughts are not entirely bad. They happen when something in your life isn’t right. Hence, figure out the root cause of the negativity and find solutions. Once you take care of the very cause for all your negative thoughts, they will disappear.
