Every second person at our workplace is cribbing about back pain on a daily basis. Because it is easy. But are we realising the long-term repercussions of the same? Sitting for long hours at our work desks or smoking cigarettes is only increasing our back pain and we are least bothered.
Here are a few ways we can deal with our back pain.
1. Increase your calcium and vitamin D intake
Making your bones stronger prevent the osteoporosis-the main cause of back pain later in life. Milk, yogurt, leafy greens are some of the calcium-rich products. Vitamin D rich foods are fatty fish, egg yolks and beef liver.
2. Do not stand at one place for a long time
Whether you’re at an office party or a bar for happy hour, avoid sitting in an awkward position or standing in one place. Moving around in the space reduces pressure on your spine.
