Korean Artist Makes Hyperrealistic Nature Paintings

Korean artist An Jung-hwan has found acclaim in recent years for creating stunning hyperrealistic paintings. The 42-year-old artist finds inspiration in nature to create his super realistic artworks and depicts various landscape scenes in flawless detail. Jung-hwan, who received his formal education in painting at Keimyung University in Daegu, South Korea, spends hours creating a single painting to ensure it looks as close to reality as possible.

His large-scale oil landscapes often feature wooded forests, verdant meadows, and beautiful mountains and have a distinct naturalistic spirit. The artist’s paintings have been featured in various exhibitions across Korea and Asia and he has received plenty of adulation for his works.
